School information: Located along the Canyon in Big Sky, Ophir School is an elementary and middle school providing quality education for children grades K-8. Approximately 115 students attend Ophir, which is currently undergoing a building expansion that will nearly double the size of the school to include an updated library, art room, and renovated science and computer labs. Upon graduation, most students commute via bus to Bozeman and attend Bozeman High School, however by 2010 Ophir will expand to allow the remaining 9-12 grades to study locally.
